Josiah lives for travelling the seas, and discovering new and unchartered lands. Unfortunately he was born a few centuries too late to really be able to excel in his passion of finding new places, but he certainly lives in hope of there being something out there waiting for him to discover it.
He was originally owned by a Captain of a naval fleet, and accompanied him on many adventures. Unfortunately one day he became separated from his owner and crew, and wound up on an unknown island. He still lives in hope of finding his owner once again, though it has been at least a year since this happened. In his quest to be reunited, he has managed to steal away on board many a ship, and has done well by befriending those on board.

Josiah spends most of his days by the port, in search of his next vessel to steal away on. Over the years he has ended up sailing with a wide range of individuals, ranging from fishermen, navy personnel and even pirates.

He is constantly on the lookout for his former master, though he has no idea if they are even still alive. It was an accidental separation and he's forever felt miserable about the prospect of being unable to reconnect.
Design Notes

Josiah tends to wear all sorts of accessories - mostly due to stealing them from the crew he sails with! His 'wardrobe' includes navy hats, bandannas and even the odd eye-patch.
