Always in search of food and treasures, Cosmo has spent many of his early months darting between boats, houses and even cars ready for more adventure but, more importantly, adding to his collection. It may come as a surprise if I were to tell you that Cosmo has managed to keep his physique in somewhat decent (and questionably healthy) condition. On reflection, it could well be the adrenaline that fuels his escapes that could be to thank for this benefit to his lifestyle.

His encounter with Josiah was yet another of his attempts to get his hands on something to eat. Josiah happened to be on board the boat at the time of Cosmo's attempted theft and was quick to get to his feet to guard the prize. Not wanting to lose out on the goal, Cosmo decided to try and out-trick the canine and stole away upon the boat waiting for his perfect moment. Unfortunately what he didn't account for was the fact that the boat had docked for a short time to restock on food, so by the time he began to get bored of his attempt the ship had already sailed.

The rest of the friendship as they say is history, but certainly not one without its comedic stories to boot.
