Ukko's name, when translated, means 'old man' which certainly sums up his personality well. Like Oscar, Ukko has a very short-temper, and whilst they have met a few times it's safe to say they prefer to keep a safe distance from each other.

Unlike Caspian, Ukko is able to sense Xerxes presence, and is often found growling towards him. As Caspian is unaware of the reason behind it, he shrugs it off as Ukko being his usual self (which isn't hard - he tends to growl at everything and everyone). Their friendship is an odd one, but Caspian hopes that Ukko does actually like to spend time with him.
