Xerxes never survived whilst sharing a womb with his twin brother, but due to some mysterious occurrence, was granted a half-life. In this 'cursed' life, he is able to see the world that he never got a chance to explore, but only because he is permanently connected to his brother's soul. He is unable to make any influence on things around him, save for the fact that he is able to guide his brother through their psychic connection. This awareness of his control over Caspian is one-sided; his brother is unable to see or feel his presence, and has no idea that he is permanently shadowed by Xerxes. The amount of power that Xerxes has however is extremely limited, and as such he can rarely abuse this power. Instead, it is his priority to ensure that Caspian survives for as long as possible.
When wearing his skull and Caspian has his blindfold on, their connection is stronger.

In order to be able to 'walk' on the land, Xerxes has to be connecting to Caspian at all times. He is unable to stray any further than this, even if it is just the tip of his tail that connects them.

With the psychic link he can influence which way Caspian walks. Although this could be seen as a guide-dog role, he is rather spiteful with Caspian out of jealousy. He will therefore try and manipulate events to inflict pain (emotional or physical) and is seen to enjoy this.
Design Notes

You can colour him as a solid or transparent black. If doing transparent then ensure the entire base is transparent.

His eyes glow red as well as being red in colour. This is more noticeable in the dark.
