Capable of a wide range of magical spells and abilities, Lorelei seeks to understand any and all magic. A fan of learning by the book, all of her magic is mostly learned through hard work and perseverance. She always had an innate ability to cast spells, however without the use of books and other ways of learning new skills she is unable to learn everything.

Lorelei tends to draw the line at dark magic however, as this is going into an area of magic that she feels most uncomfortable with. Whilst she would argue this is her only reason for avoiding this, the other reason is that it can become her undoing. She fears that learning the abilities of dark magic will cause her to lose all sense of herself, and with it potentially curse her to an unknown life of solitude and pain. Fearful of this, she spends her time trying to fight against the dark magic around her, and is known to be quite superstitious in her beliefs.
