A bit of a weird one, Giles can be best described as being a cross between the Mad Hatter and a crazy old witch. He can be found wide awake at early hours of the morning, sitting out by a graveyard keeping an eye on everything - and everyone - around him. It isn't uncommon to find him sitting on his lonesome, rocking back and forth whilst muttering and cackling to himself. 

His best friends are the owls and bats that keep him company when he's out and about, though truthfully he doesn't really understand the concept of friends. Nonetheless, they help him resolve the mysteries within his mind, even if he doesn't understand them (nor they him).

When he isn't sitting out in odd places, he can be found experimenting with different concoctions and brews.
