Ausar isn't really sure what his first memory is, and even after several questions of trying to find out more he is still unable to do so. This has ultimately shaped his passion for looking up to the stars in search of answers, as well as going for long travels around the world. Unfortunately it's not possible to include his passion for finding treasure as part of his quest for answers - he just really enjoys uncovering relics!
On his 'birth' into being, his physical being (that of an African Wild Dog) was fused with the heart and spirit of Osiris. His name is an alternative name for this ancient Egyptian god, and is one reason he hasn't yet connected the dots. He does feel a connection though, but puts this down to just being in awe of the stories and mythology he has heard about him.

As a result of being bound to Osiris' spirit, Ausar has been able to read and translate hieroglyphics, which aids him in uncovering new finds. It also means that, without realising it, he has a lot more power than he first thought.

His jerboa companion joined him after a lucky escape from a tomb that Ausar happened to be exploring!

Although he shouldn't, he has quite a collection of historical artefacts that he feels are safer with him than anywhere else.
